3rd Annual Brunch on Purpose Luncheon will take place at the Charles F. Dodge City Center in Pembroke Pines on Saturday, October 5, 2024, from 10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.
The annual luncheon attracts over 500 purpose-driven, like-minded individuals who come together to support the organization's mission and raise much-needed funds for empowerment programs and essential services for the community.
This year's luncheon, themed "You're The One," focuses on navigating challenges, seizing opportunities, preparing to leave lasting legacies, and ending generations cycles.
This event will spotlight the remarkable achievements and collective impact of community leaders across various spheres.
The event’s Special Guest Speaker will be Tekoa Pouerie, a non-profit senior executive and community advocate with over 20 years of experience. Tekoa is currently the Vice President at Pace Center for Girls Headquarters and has been recognized with prestigious accolades, including the NBA Social Justice Game Changer Award and the Orlando Business Journal Champion of Diversity Award. She is also a prominent keynote speaker and trainer.
The luncheon’s Mistress of Ceremonies is LaWanda Harris, Founding Emcee. LaWanda is a talented corporate event emcee, voice actor, and customer service-focused hospitality guru.
Attendees will participate in an activity to reinforce self-care and physical activity.
The event will include a fashion show presented by No Limits Foundation.
The event will conclude with acknowledgements from the Brunch on Purpose team and a closing prayer by Chaplain Bennett.
Early Registration Tickets are available until August 31, 11:59 PM EDT for $75.00 + $1.88 service fee. Tickets will increase to $90 thereafter.
Next Generation Tickets (Age 15 and under) are available until September 14, 11:59 PM EDT for $60.00 + $1.50 service fee.

Almost three years ago, the Born on Purpose Project honored women in public service at the “Taking Care of Ourselves as We Take Care of the Community” Inaugural Brunch. They continued this tradition by bringing women together for the “Stronger Together” 2nd Annual Brunch on Purpose.
