ChildNet's 'Cocktails and Cheers' Event

ChildNet will host its annual Care for Kids "Cocktails and Cheers" event, presented by Joe DiMaggio Children’s Hospital, on Wednesday, May 14 at Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino from 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.

The event is an opportunity for the Broward County community to rally behind ChildNet, Broward County’s Community-Based Care lead agency that protects abused, abandoned, and neglected children in the community, and shows support for children in foster care.

Cindy Arenberg Seltzer, President/CEO, Children’s Services Council of Broward County, will be honored with the 2025 Champion for Children award for her ongoing support of ChildNet and the children it serves.

During the Care for Kids event, guests will enjoy drinks and appetizers while bidding on their favorite silent auction items.

By supporting this event, you join hundreds of stakeholders who make ChildNet possible. Most of ChildNet’s budget is restricted to specific priorities. The funds raised from the event will provide ChildNet the flexibility to prioritize the needs of our children, youth, and caregivers, and take advantage of opportunities that arise and react to unforeseen challenges.
