History Fort Lauderdale, in celebration of National Historic Preservation Month, will present “Lauderdale Living: The Architecture of Possibilities” from May 1 – June 29.

History Fort Lauderdale, in celebration of National Historic Preservation Month, will present “Lauderdale Living: The Architecture of Possibilities” from Thursday, May 1 – Sunday, June 29. The exhibition will showcase rarely seen historical photographs from the museum’s collection alongside contemporary works by artists Christina Lihan and Abby Laughlin. A free public opening reception with the artists will take place on Thursday, May 1, from 6 – 8 p.m., at the New River Inn Museum of History building on History Fort Lauderdale’s campus (231 Southwest Second Avenue).

Beginning May 1, History Fort Lauderdale will be open five days a week from 10 a.m. - 4 p.m. with docent guided tours, daily, at 1, 2 and 3 p.m. (closed Tuesday and Wednesday). Group walking tours are available upon special request. Admission is $15 for adults; $12 for seniors and $7 for students (through age 22 with a valid student ID). Admission is free for members, military and children ages six and under. Tickets are available online at HistoryFortLauderdaleTickets.
