Event Details
Egg-citement is in the air with an annual egg hunt at MODS!
Join us for a day filled with curiosity and creativity as we delve into the fascinating world of animals that hatch from eggs. Then join the engineering challenge that’ll leave you egg-static, as you attempt the ultimate egg drop from a dizzying height, all while ensuring your precious cargo (an egg) stays intact. It’s an egg-splosive day of learning, adventure, and tons of fun! The grand prize for the egg hunt will be a Squishmallow basket.
8:30 a.m. – Check-in begins for ages 1-6. | 9 a.m. – Check-in begins for ages 7-10.
South Florida’s award-winning attraction features 150,000 square feet of dynamic science exhibits, an outdoor science park, a live animal collection, a rotating schedule of science shows, learning labs, café, store, and a grand atrium featuring the Great Gravity Clock, a 52-foot-tall kinetic energy sculpture: the largest clock in Florida. The showpiece of the museum since 1993, this unique timepiece is one of only three in the world.
Children can also visit and investigate underwater marvels in MODS’ Voyage to the Deep – Underwater Adventures, a new traveling exhibit. “Seas” the day and embark on the legendary Nautilus submarine with Captain Nemo for an interactive journey of underwater exploration!
