Operation Turkey Dinner

United Way of Broward County’s MISSION UNITED is launching Operation Turkey Dinner, a call for donations that will used for the non-profit organization’s annual Thanksgiving Meal Distribution initiative. Each year, MISSION UNITED provides hundreds of Thanksgiving meals to active military personnel, Veterans and their families during Thanksgiving week to say thank you.

Operation Turkey Day Donations should be dropped off at United Way of Broward County’s Ansin Building between November 13 – 16, 2023.

There are two ways that the public can help support Operation Turkey Day:

Donate $75 to sponsor a Thanksgiving meal for 4 people by clicking on the link below: UnitedWayBroward.org/OperationTurkeyDinner23

Donate a box of groceries/supplies needed to make a Thanksgiving Dinner and then deliver it to United Way of Broward County’s Ansin Building (1300 S. Andrews Avenue, Fort Lauderdale, Fl 33316).

Boxes can be filled with the following items:
Two (2) 6 oz. Boxes of Instant Stuffing Mix (Stove Top Style)
Two (2) 15 oz. Cans of Whole Kernel Corn
One (1) 14 oz. Can of Jellied Cranberry Sauce (1) 14 oz. Can of Sweetened Condensed Milk
One (1) Package of Cornbread Mix
Two (2) Cans of Yams
One (1) Graham Cracker Pie Crust
Two (2) 12 oz. Jars of Turkey Gravy
One (1) Package of Pumpkin Pie Spice
One (1) 13 oz. Box of Instant Mashed Potatoes (1) 15 oz. Can of Pumpkin Puree
One (1) 16 oz. Bag of Marshmallows (not Mini)
One (1) Roll of 25' Aluminum Foil
One (1) $25 Gift Card for a Grocery Store
